You can't beat Playhouse Square in Cleveland. It's the second largest theater district to New York City, and I think the prettiest theaters in the country.

In addition to amazing theatre productions and musicals, playhouse square also hosts the Cleveland International Film Festival annually in the spring. I loved getting to hear from directors and stars of the documentaries during q&a sessions after films.

Love, love, love this amazingly beautiful location and its fabulous staff! They make seeing or putting on a production so much easier! I can't say enough good things about attending any show at the Mimi Ohio theater!!!

This was my first time ever coming here Always wanted to come see Wicked here. Now I know. The Ushers are all so friendly and nice. What a beautiful design. All of the various theatres connected it was really nice. The parking garage is connected and I would prepay for parking. We drove in showed parking ticket and was told to park on level 3. We were right next to the stairs and elevator. The connecting bridge is on the 2nd floor. The Mimi Theatre seats over 850 people. It can be tight fit for tall and large people. The sound system is good. There for The Bald Brothers Comedy Tour and it was a packed house 6 tickets short of a sellout. In closing what a great venue.

First time visiting the Mimi Ohio Theater (usually in the Keybank for a Broadway Show). The overall space of Playhouse Square has grown into a top to bottom wonderful experience. From the outside chandelier on Euclid Ave (not shown) to the unique eateries attached inside. Arrive early and plan to take in all the city has to offer! The lobby and inside is beautifully decorated with art and ceiling work that makes you appreciate the history that this theater is. The seats are comfortable and the ushers friendly and helpful. There is a small cobsession stand selling cookies, pretzels, and drinks (both non and alcoholic). Someone from our party purchased a hot pretzel and shared and this was soft and buttery, everything you would ask for in an $8 pretzel. Overpriced, but not hard and stale, I would purchase again. We saw A Christmas Carol and the production was put together perfectly, loved the stage special effects, especially the snow at the end. We did sit in the balcony and with the cast not having an overall mic for all, found it difficult at times to hear people. I always love visiting Cleveland and would definitely return to a play anytime the opportunity arises!
