My husband was newly laced on a ventilator and needed help to wean from it The team there was wonderful and worked so closely together to help with this as well as a number of other problems. The nurses were so caring and supportive and effectively managed his wounds and care needs. The respiratory therapists trailed many approaches to help him to successfully be off the ventilator during the day and to share information with me on how to manage his ventilator at night. The speech therapist worked with him to regain use of his vocal cords with great success and evaluated his swallowing to advance his diet. Everyone from the dietary and housekeeping staff gave him personalized attention and were very effective in their roles. The food was excellent and plentiful with a lot of variety. The facility and patient rooms were very clean and spacious. We were very pleased with the medical care as well as all the specialists that came to consult. The fact that they had an EMR that the patient and family could use for information and test results was also very important. Overall we were very pleased with the care.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE & PLEASE do a thorough & extensive research on this facility. I would not recommend this place to anybody... especially if your love one is non-responsive. They are extremely slow to answering the nurse's call light. This place appears to always be short on staff, but will tell you they are not. They leave patients lying in their urine & feces for hours. When they do show up they always say 'I'll be right back', which turns into hours. The administration team is only concerned about the insurance coverages more than your love ones. Beware of the mask covered tour you are given when scouting this place out.

Select Fairhill is top of the list when it comes to care and rehabilitation. I have alot of medical issues, so I have been to this particular facility numerous times on different occasions. First impressions are everything and this place made a lasting impression on me.The nursing staff is top tier, they really do care about their patients. They show alot of compassion and empathy. They take time with their care and they get to know their patients individually and the patients individual needs. That's why every time I come back I always request the same staff. Especially Julie B., she warmed my heart from the very beginning. She has the most joyous, uplifting, bubbly personality. She is so lovable and she loves her patients and loves what she do as a nurse. She is one of the most caring, passionate and attentive nurses there is. Not only has she taken care of me as a patient to help me heal and get better but she has also helped me as a friend in some of my darkest times. She always is there just to talk to and listen or give sound advice. She reminds me of reason to keep pushing to get better and not give up even though things may get rough. For that I am forever grateful and I consider her to be a life long friend. There are many other nurses that are wonderful just like Julie as well. She just always stuck of from the start. Overall Fairhill is a great place to go, if you're looking for yourself or looking for a loved one. Trust they will definitely be in good hands. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend. It doesn't get any better.

Do not send a loved one here. My uncle continually got worse and they refused to send him back to Cleveland Clinic. I said they needed to order a certain test days prior until they actually did it and SUPRISE now he’s on his way back to Cleveland Clinic needing surgery. I stated that there was something wrong with a drain- they told me it was fine for days. SURPRISE it wasn’t and the test I wanted showed it. They never will answer the phone to give updates. When calling some nurses are rude: stated “continually calling me isn’t going to make me call you any faster” - because she didn’t have time to give an update. Mind you was trying to get an update since 6pm and never got one until 2am. I’m a nurse and currently work in a nursing home, and I feel I’m more intelligent than these nurses and doctors here.

My husband has been in Fairhill for a month now and the care he has received is exceptional! I have to say that nurse Kristen has been my God send. She takes such detailed care with my husband and with me! Kristen has made everything just that much better. Very knowledgeable and thorough with everything she does. Thank you Kristen!!❤️
