Wagyu, uni, and foie gras are as good as they usually are. I like eye of the tiger. It’s a mix of interesting flavor of acidic burdock root, savory mushroom and scallop. The blend makes scallop tastes more savory and sweet than scallop sashimi alone. The salmon in salmon tartare tastes a bit lean. I like the tuna tartare better. The flavor of tamagoyaki is different from what I used to have. It is fluffy and soft, and taste almost like a dessert. Overall I would say, this is not as good as the best ones I had in China, but it is one of the best in Cleveland. The environment could get a bit loud with the music and people talking.

Classy and delish sushi spot in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. If you want a flavor packed and amazing dining experience try the chefs plate. I was so excited to try plates put together by the chef right in front of our table. It’s a 4 course dining experience that’s ideal for a fancy date night, special celebration or treat to share with someone you care for. Ginko is also great if you want individual rolls and not leave each plate up to chance. I have eaten there twice and have enjoyed myself! Cool vibe, cool location, high quality experience.

Drinks, ambience, food, service are all great. The omakase was good with 1-2 unique items that I had not seen in other omakases I’ve tried before. The drinks are excellent. Service is attentive and the food is fresh.

It’s Extremely rare for me to give a full five star rating, but given the context of where we’re at and the quality of what Ginko provides you can’t do any better if you’re craving sushi and you’re in a 50 mile radius of this spot! I’ll elaborate why. The quality of Ingredients are top notch! I don’t care where you go In the north east Ohio area. You’re not gonna get seafood that tastes as fresh as what ginko has. The atmosphere feels authentic. It’s meant to be tight. It’s meant to be an intimate experience eating this food. Everything is prepared in front of you as long as you’re sitting at the bar, of course. There’s a good variety without the menu being oversaturated. Every item on the menu has been mastered and is executed to perfection. Lastly, I’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants in my life, not only in Ohio, but in Boston specifically. This is the only place where they actually use real wasabi. You can see the guy shaving the root! It’s an amazing experience and in my opinion it’s actually very affordable. I only got two hand rolls tonight, both being tuna along side a beer And I paid like 30 bucks. I was very satisfied like I always am when I come here. I can’t recommend the spot enough! Compliments to Dante and more importantly, the staff who keeps up the high-quality of food.
